To provide learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to identify hazards, assess risks, implement control measures, and produce compliant, effective risk assessments aligned with UK health & safety legislation.

• Identify hazards in a range of workplace environments
• Assess risks using a structured methodology
• Apply the hierarchy of control to reduce risk
• Produce clear, suitable, and sufficient risk assessments

• Understand the link between risk assessment, safe systems of work, and method statements
