Aims
To provide learners with the knowledge and practical understanding required to carry out Fire Marshal (Fire Warden) duties effectively, including fire prevention, emergency response, safe evacuation, and supporting workplace fire safety compliance.
Objectives
On completion of the course, delegates should understand:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a Fire Marshal
- Identify common workplace fire hazards and control measures
- Recognise different types of fire and appropriate extinguishing methods
- Support fire prevention and routine safety checks
- Respond effectively during fire alarms and emergencies
- Lead and assist with safe evacuation procedures
- Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency services
